Vince Narduzzo is widely known as one Europe's top colourists. Indeed, Stephen Fry introduced him as "The legendary Vince Narduzzo" at the BAFTA awards ceremony in 2005, and his credit list is testament to the breadth and calibre of his work, as is his following of loyal and extolling DOPs, Directors and Producers.
As the Criterion Collection's preferred UK colourist, Vince has graded numerous classic films; including the remastering of Black Narcissus, on which his worked with Oscar-winning DOP Jack Cardiff. Director Terry Gilliam has also favoured and raved about Vince's talents since working with him on Brazil in 1995.
Since then, Vince has graded several of Gilliam's dazzling films, including Brothers Grimm, Tideland and The Holy Grail on which he also worked closely with Terry's DOP, Nicola Pecorini.
Vince is also celebrated for his exceptional work on high-end television dramas and documentaries. Britain's most illustrious TV drama writer/director, Steven Poliakoff, is just one of the industry's greats who insists on working with Vince. Since grading Poliakoff's highly acclaimed drama The Lost Prince, with DOP Barry Ackroyd; Vince has graded all of Poliakoff's work, including his recent trilogy Capturing Mary.
Comic genius Ricky Gervais is also a big fan of Vince's work. Gervais and DOP Martin Hawkins (who had been grading his drama and comedy work with Vince for years) chose Vince to grade both series of the award winning cult hit Extras.
Vince has worked with many iconic directors and DOPs on their award-winning features, his portfolio includes feature digital intermediate grades Tideland (Nicola Pecorini DOP, Terry Gilliam Director), The Brothers Grimm (Nicola Pecorini and Newton Thomas-Sigel DOPs, Terry Gilliam Director), History Boys (Andrew Dunn DOP, Nick Hytner Director), Mischief Nights (Robbie Ryan DOP, Penny Walcock Director), Touching the Void (Mike Eley and Keith Partridge DOPs, Kevin MacDonald Director), the Gathering Storm (Peter Hannan DOP, Richard Loncraine Director), Rocket Post (Nick Morris DOP).
Vince's company, Narduzzo Too Ltd, is based at Pinewood Studios.
